South Denver Psychotherapy is comprised of associates representing the various disciplines of professional
counseling for individuals, families, adolescents, children and couples. The organization's lead principal and
practitioner is Pam Kennel.
Pam Kennel is the principal of South Denver Psychotherapy, a professional practice which counsels couples and partners, and individuals; both men and women. She is a Colorado registered psychotherapist and has earned a BA degree in Psychology, earned a Masters Degree in Counseling with honors from Regis University, and received a post graduate certificate in Marriage & Family Counseling from the Denver Family Institute.
Ms. Kennel was born in Colorado and has resided in the South Denver metro area for the last 35 years. She has had the opportunity to counsel people in a variety of capacities within her private practice, in social service organizations, in business and holding executive positions in corporations. Pam has traveled the world, she is a mother, wife, daughter, and throws the ball for two appreciative dogs.
Sally Seiffer is a Colorado Registered Psychotherapist with degrees in Education and Social Work. She earned a BS degree in Education from Illinois State University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. Ms. Seiffer taught and coached at the high school level in Illinois and California with a passion to help and advance her students. Her post graduate professional education in Clinical Social Work at the University of Denver specialized in helping high risk youth. In addition to her private practice, Sally is a High School Social Worker in nearby Douglas County.
Ms. Seiffer integrates humor with therapy. Her patient’s concerns are hers. Ms. Seiffer creates an atmosphere that empowers and motivates young people toward change. She offers a practical approach and devises practical solutions; enabling adolescents to realign themselves with their inherent potential. On a personal level, some of her favorite activities include: walking and running with her beloved canine, exploring mountain towns, retail therapy, and soaking up the atmosphere of local coffee shops.
