Providers of Counseling at South Denver Psychotherapy

South Denver Psychotherapy is comprised of associates representing the various disciplines of professional counseling for individuals, families, adolescents, children and couples. It is located in Centennial and serves Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Denver and Englewood. The organization’s principal is Pam Kennel. Below are the biographies of our associates.

Pam Kennel

Pam KennelPam Kennel is the lead counselor at South Denver Psychotherapy, a professional psychotherapy practice which counsels couples, partners, individual men and women and supervision. She is a Colorado Licensed Professional Counselor. She earned a BA degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Counseling with honors from Regis University. She also received a post graduate certificate in Marriage & Family Counseling from the Denver Family Institute. She has  completed Level I & II in EMDR training which specifically deals with trauma resolution. Her overriding philosophy is that people have a natural striving toward health and health comes form taking care and the balancing of our mind, body and spirit.

Ms. Kennel was born in Colorado and has resided in the South Denver metro area for the last 35 years. She has had the opportunity to counsel people in a variety of capacities within her private practice, in social service organizations, in business and holding executive positions in corporations. Pam has traveled the world, she is a mother, wife, daughter, and throws the ball for two appreciative dogs.
