Sally Bonkrude MA, LPC, MT-BC
Public Performance Counselor and Coach

Sally Bonkrude counsels and coaches amateur and professional musicians, public speakers, students and people preparing for auditions and interviews; that want to be "at ease" and shine in their performance. Sally offers new perspectives, insights and tools to overcome stage fright, which involves rewiring your brain's primitive "fight or flight" response into a "relaxation" response. She does this by helping you make positive inner changes to your body and mind. Sally works with all ages to become confident, successful performers in life.

Sally developed her innovative approach to achieving peak performance through the completion of her Masters Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology from Naropa University, Music Therapy Certification, Advanced Gestalt Training, and advanced training in Internal Family Systems Therapy. Sally Bonkrude is a licensed professional counselor with an extensive background in public speaking, piano, voice, and theater.

Today, Sally speaks nationally as an expert on moving from fear and anxiety to freedom and Conscious Performing. In her free time, Sally enjoys hiking in the mountains, yoga and music of all kinds.

In addition to her association with South Denver Psychotherapy, Sally is an independent mental health professional. You can contact her through her private practice directly via her web site: Positive Inner Change
